These past two days have been pretty action packed on the administrative side of WARhammer Onrine. That is to say, Fork hit "Accept" on something and we were suddenly and magically in an impressive multi-guild alliance. Alliances are a new and exotic thing for me in fantasy MMOs, not since EvE have I seen alliances. Indeed, having some virtual buddies who share a common interests with your guild can only result in win. Or at the very least, a lot of Funsize cybering and soliciting other alliance members on alliance chat.






Background of the Alliance thingie

Our entry into this alliance was really one of those "stroke of luck" things. Ever since hitting Tier 4 with my sorc, I found myself less and less inclined to RvR in scenarios (after doing Tor Shitballs for too long). As a result, whilst doing a T4 PQ (remember them!?) in Caledor in my lonesome, I grouped up with a two people named Jittah and Ouch respectively. We soon realized that we really enjoyed each others' company, and also helped that Ouch and Jittah were good at what they were doing (Tanking and Healing). I initially proposed that our two guilds held some kind of joint activity because their mans were similar to ours in a way. However, Jittah had a better idea - to put Twelve in their alliance, an opportunity to war alongside some really decent members in the community.



Current members of the Alliance

<Circle of Kakis> - A large guild, with well over a 100 members. Based primarily in Singapore.

<Chaos Theory> - Led by Jittah, pretty big guild. Mixed membership (like us!).

<Ronin> - Ouch's guild, I don't know much about them yet.

<Twelve> - We bring the unicorn soup and rainbow eating vikings.

<Immortal> - A guild of around 40 members, predominantly high level players (they farm rank 35+ stuff). Just joined today.


Do try to remember the names of the other four guilds, I don't have to worry about you guys being nice and polite to them because we aren't a pack of dicks out to spoil anyone's fun. Also by nice and polite I mean of course, offer to /sex and /lick them constantly. If you can't be bothered getting accustomed to all the other guys in the Alliance, I recommend at least getting to know some <Chaos Theory> guys, I have spent quite some time questing with them and they are kind of like Twelvians in many ways. I know one of their guys finds April from TMNT hot, that can't be far off our guys!






Utilizing Alliance chat

Usually, the officers/warband organizers/alliance leaders (GLs) will use alliance chat to broadcast any locations of interest which they are going to farm (PQs for INF and whatnot) and alliance chat is used by all the guilds to announce any particular keep sieges in which the announcing guild are committing people to attack or defend.

Right now, only a few people in <Twelve> have access to alliance chat, and by that, I mean that only a few people can actively chat on it. Please note that most should be able to read alliance chat (that's the whole point, after all). Because this is an inter-guild affair, we want individuals who can present us in a way that isn't you know, completely retarded. If you are the kind of WAR-player that constantly seeks open RvR and keep sieges and are always looking to find people to do them with - message either myself or Fork (use forum PM or in-game PMs), we need people like yourself to broadcast that shit on alliance chat.


Oh yeah, I guess I'll finish with a screenshot of my sorc-chick. She's rank 34 and feeling a lot more CLOTHED. I despair, but sacrifices have to be made!
