I'm reading Bleach, right? Right? If so, then what is this...

Like.What.The.Hell!

Did Kubo-sensei consume some seriously screwed up drugs this past month? Bleach was building up so amazingly and then in the span of 4 chapters everything exploded into lameness. This is what happened in the Arrancar Arc, things built-up nicely and then it all fell apart when Kubo-sensei decided to focus on the Fracción on Barragan...speaking of those Fracción, Mask De Masculine reminds me of Charlotte Chuhlhourne...oh goodness, my eyes hurt from recalling those chapters...

What the hell Kubo-sensei...

The image of the Christmas star has forever been tainted by Mask de Masculine's package.

I guess this is Kubo's way of saying "Merry Christmas"…

While playing Pokemon X I came across this Pokemon:

So it was Rukia's birthday yesterday, happy birthday to her!

Hopefully Kubo-sensei gives her some more screen time in the coming chapters.

Rukia’s mastery over Sode no Shirayuki’s abilities are impressive, what else does she have up her sleeve?

THAT was an AMAZING chapter.

My GOODNESS, RUKIA was freaking awesome. FINALLY she gets the coverage she deserves. If reader's didn't love her already, they will now.

Thank you Kubo-sensei, and I am glad you saved her Bankai release for later.

Let's hope As Nodt is dead for good now, Rukia was badass this chapter and I am looking forward to seeing her move on to other Stern Ritter.

Easily one of the best chapters this Quincy Blood War Arc. I was satisfied across EVERY single panel, especially Rukia rebutting As Nodt's philosophy of fear with her own philosophy of science.

What a badass, Rukia

Ugh, I can't believe I praised Kubo-sensei so much in the previous chapter, especially after being trolled so dam badly this chapter...I should have known things would end up this way, but I was holding onto the little hope I had that Kubo-sensei would do things differently this arc, but his usual fighting formula has reared its despicably grotesque and ugly head (thrash one character to make another character look good, it happened with the Espada so notably, now it is happening here).

...Ah Kubo, Kubo, Kubo...was this chapter really necessary? Couldn't you have left things as they were last chapter and left Rukia on the badass note she ended things at and have the win? I mean last chapter was perfect, one of the best chapters in the arc, and then you bring out chapter 568, one of the least enjoyable chapters of the arc.

I guess it is too much to ask for the main female character of a story be able to fight for herself by herself without needing some other character to save her, let alone it being BUUYYYAAAAHHHKUUUUUYYYAAAAAAAAAAA-bleh....I really didn't want him to show up. If he had died earlier in the arc like it was shown it would have fleshed out Rukia's so much more and given her a foundation on which to develop off of for this final Bleach arc.

What exactly was the point of Rukia's training now? She freaking hit As Nodt with an attack at the temperature of absolute zero, how the heck is he still alive? I want to scream.

Geez I really hope Kubo at least has Rukia fight alongside Byakuya instead of just helplessly watching her nii-san from the sidelines like she has been for almost the whole manga.

Bleach Chapter 568 – Frozen II

Man, I feel so trolled.

Did things really need to developed in such a way Kubo-sensei?

Rukia, the epitome of Bleach, cleansing any and all stained evil with her White Ice Bleaching Powers.

Glad Kubo-sensei decided to keep Byakuya's involvement to a minimum in this fight and mainly kept his role to showing his acknowledgement of Rukia's strength which subsequently inspired her to overcome the fear within herself allowing her to take on As Nodt without his ability affecting her. Nice relationship development between Byakuya and Rukia.

Anyway poor form As Nodt, should have killed Byakuya when you had the opportunity. Sad that most villains in mainstream shounen manga are so dumb (its better when they are defeated because of a lack of power as opposed to a lack of brain usage...).

Ah, I was afraid that this would be the case, that Unohana had really died…=(. I loved how Unohana was revealed to be the first Kenpachi, and I would have loved to see Unohana let loose in that state at some point, but with her sacrificing her life to unleash the terror that is Zaraki, I suppose it isn’t so bad. The extent of Zaraki’s power, the power and potential which Unohana saw during their first battle, I really am curious to see where the limits to it lies, if there really is any that is.

Zaraki overpowering "Fantasy Boy" Gremmy’s imagination and cutting Gremmy was incredibly cool, I also loved how Zaraki proclaimed that ‘inside Gremmy’s imagination, there isn’t a thing Gremmy could think of that Zaraki won’t be able to cut.’ What a beast Kenpachi.

A shiver ran up my spine...

I REALLY do hope the flash/blast in the sky is a signal of Sado, Inoue, Nel, Grimmjow and Kisuke appearing (it is too early for Ichigo to appear). The battle is set-up perfectly for several characters to show up, especially the main ones. I doubt we will get many opportunities for Sado and Inoue to appear in battle after this, so hopefully with Zaraki injured, it means that Inoue will appear to heal him.

I also feel that Candice, Liltotto, Meninas, and Giselle are at levels near that which Sado and Inoue are at. Would also be cool to see Nel in action again after so long since her last battle. If Ichigo is the one appearing, he would just end up destroying the Sternritter there before they even have any chance to shine much.

Sado and Inoue - colour by JoeZart63

Been a REALLY long time since all the main characters (Ichigo, Uryuu, Sado, Inoue, Rukia and Renji) appeared in a single chapter of Bleach - yay for chapter 586.

Chapter 587 was great as well, it probably had more dialog for Sado in that chapter than the past 150 chapters of Bleach. I also love how Sado smashed Ichigo out of his emo-phase he goes through every arc. It feels good seeing Inoue and Sado back in the focus. For main characters, they have been absent for way too long! Hopefully now that Kubo-sensei has brought them back, he continues to keep a fraction of the focus on them for this arc. It will also be fascinating to see how Sado and Inoue have developed combat-wise. With many of the Sternritter members defeated, I wonder who Sado and Inoue will be matched up against, if any that is =/. I suppose a development or twist could force Sado and Inoue to become relevant during Ichigo’s battle against Yhwach.

Kisuke as usual has a solution to any problem, I just love how he appears at opportune moments to share his services with Ichigo and Co. Seriously I swear there is something more to Kisuke then he is letting anyone else know. I am still sticking with my theory that Kisuke is the son of the Soul King, very curious to see if that pans out and becomes a reality. Fingers crossed and looking forward to the next chapter – hoping for some Candice.

A shame Ichigo didn't get the memo...and to think Inoue exposed so much just to please Ichigo-san!

Anyway, Kisuke and Mayuri surprisingly make a good team.
