Hey Guys!!

Thought I would make this thread to break away from the negative in the other thread, even though it's mostly been resolved now.

Tonight I thought we did a great job, but there's definitely room for improvement. The speed of bosses/clearing was really good as well. I would love this thread to be an open discussion for strats and general raid opinions. I know that Hobz has a few opinions which I will be great to hear due to his experience.

Feel free to post videos/pics or whatever you want really.

I also would like to clear up the 'carrying' situation. I have no idea why Zed was not allowed to stay for the bottom floor at least, when we have carried plenty of people before. I think we need a clear cut ilvl (700/710) or point where people are not allowed past the bottom floor, or whatever bosses we have on easy farm. I feel like this was mostly miscommunication, but at the same time it sucked for Zed I'm sure.

I loved having Dig spam the flasks/food/runes, I think that worked really well.

Anyways, feel free to post questions/suggestions or opinions. Hopefully we can get some people from Exit Strat to join in the discussions and being a raid fullllll of communication!

Also sorry if my post is a little all over the shop, I'm really tired and Sugar made me do it!!!!

Thanks for the thread Han! ;)

Overall a large improvement. Time was managed a lot better. I'm happy with how we managed to pull the first boss at 8:05.

I'm not totally sure what happened with Zed as I'm pretty sure we specifically asked him to lvl/come back to raiding.

I would like to hear what Hobz thinks could help us on Iskar as we are still struggling.

I'll see myself out :P

We should probably sort out this TS slots thing...

I have a TS server that I can host that which supports 32 slots. It's setup and ready to go...we could give it a trial on Sunday and fallback if it sucks. The Twelve Mumble server looks like it only supports 25.…

Hopefully it works out. It's Australian hosted and it should have plenty of bandwidth. It's only limited to 32 slots because that's the limit of a free TS license...if we switched to Mumble it could probably have more slots (because it's free)
Hooray
I think overall the use of time was much better tonight, which was awesome. If it can continue to be used in this fashion it'd be excellent.

Regarding Xhul on Sunday, I'm fairly sure I'll be fine doing it alone (I made a horrible mistake last week) but it couldn't hurt to have someone else who will be able to pick up where I left off in case I potato out again and explode(it won't).

Personally having a good time, hope everyone else is as well. If I think of anything else I'd like to say I'll make more awfully constructed posts.

Can we consider starting from the upper level on Wednesdays instead of clearing lowers, it'll give us more time on bosses we haven't mastered and we can leave the lower tier for Sunday.

Also this.

Could see how many people are keen for it. I personally prefer TS to discord, but we can have a chat in the raid.

It's definitely a thought for the near future, but as we're still giving people upgrades from the lower section, we'll probably just continue doing that for a while I'm assuming. Might not have seemed like it last night when that 1 guy got all the gear, but there are still a few upgrades going around from DOWN UNDER.

I tried it a few months back and it's amazingly easy to use especially for pug raids. None of this bullshit having to put in server info/passwords or having to download/update clients. One link and you're good to go on their web client.

It's basically slack + voice. (plus free)

TS probably has better reliability seeing as it's been around for so long (not that I've had any issues with Discord) but the future of voip gaming is definitely with Discord like platforms.

Anyway that's my 2c
