Hey so I was introduced to a new Social integration site/app The great points is that it seems very similar to slack but comes with it's own voice chat serves that are not only free but seem to use less computer power and bandwidth than TS, Mumble and others. It seems like a great opportunity to consolidate. It also shows what games you are playing rather than being dependent on guessing from the channel someone is on.

Check it out?

Edit: Also you can access the voice chat features straight from your browser just by following a link, so if you are in a game with someone and attempting to do some content to requires a little extra coordination you send a 1 or even a 5 times use link and people now have access to that channel for the limit use of the link.
Thanks, I'll check it out next break! I'm always looking for people to play with in my limited times.
I was thinking if the Cutlery and Shaunz were to set something up we could end up with some kind of Slack/Game Voice Chat combo and have a little more of an integrated community.

Very similar to Slack, but the built in voice stuff is cool. Some other nifty features like Instant Invite.

Though we're already heavily integrated with Slack, but if this improves it could be cool and worth the effort to switch over.

Will have to keep an eye on it.

Do they have Australian voice servers?

When I created the server I was able to put it in a Sydney region.
Just because you tick the aussie box, doesn't mean the server is here though.
Has anyone tried out the voice chat? What's the quality / responsiveness like?

The chat seems like slack without a lot of the good features, but it's certainly on its way.
The Voice seems good, nice and responsive, uses the same codec as mumble and curse voice (opus). It is working to have integration and it has the /giphy command. Plus overlay system. At the moment it is being built with funding from silicon valley, and when rolled out fully will have optional cosmetic purchasable.
