Looks boring and generic, doesn't it?

This show started off with such a cracker of a first episode, I was spellbound. I'm just hoping they can keep this pace up, because it was almost perfection.

You know when you're watching a show and think "I wish they'd do this.." or "I wish that dick would die" or "geez, why don't they just" - we all do it, right?

Well it seemed as if this show was clued into that mind in the back of my head, and the wrecking ball of carnage that ensued was glorious.

The first episode is crazy fast paced, has great battle scenes, characters you think will be around for ages dying all over the place, amazing beards, and set up the series very well.

I'm just really hoping they can keep it up.

Watched the second episode last night.

They kept the pace up, and it was glorious.

Do recommend.

I watched the first episode and have to say that it was quite good.

The costumes and sets are pretty great. Some of the acting is a little wooden, but luckily those people were killed off.

I was pretty surprised by this. Didn't think it was going to span 20 years in the first episode. That's actually quite an impressive amount of back-story, considering the characters [as you said] seemed like important characters that were going to be the focus of the story.

Show seems pretty aggressive so far, especially those post-war celebrations.

I was quite surprised that unlike most shows, when they did a time skip the girls actually got uglier. Usually the little girls time skip into sexy models but this one decided to cast a couple mingers instead (while the guy became orlando bloom).

The viking scenes reminded me a lot of 'how to train your dragon' but with less 'DONK!'s and more beheadings.

Really, really loving this show.

It's still moving along at a cracking pace which is great to see, and doesn't look like it's going to slow down any time soon.

The latest episode was a bit lighter on the action, but had a heavy slathering of character development and politics that was actually interesting and well done.

The action that was present was fucking great though, and oh so tense!
