So I have just added some golden syrup (courtesy of Twelve meet surplus) to my cup of earl grey tea and it is absolutely delicious. Usually I use honey but I think golden syrup tastes even better.

Nothing like a good cup of tea. How do you like your tea? What type of tea do you like? What do you add to your tea? Tea.

Irish breakfast - no milk, no sugar
Irish breakfast is a bit more aromatic than the English breakfast and is my favourite black tea

I also like jasmine green tea, and Japanese gen mai sencha (the one with the puffed rice in it)

While I was pregnant I drank A LOT of Twinings ginger and lemon tea - at first because it helped with the nausea, and then because you're not supposed to have much caffeine. I still do drink it most days.

I'm sure the whiskey helps too

If you have a smart phone of any kind, do a voice search for "Tea, Earl Grey, Hot". For those of you without voice search, go to

With 12 hour shifts at work, I like a good cup of tea. Coffee happens a fair amount, but it is nice to change things around and just sit back and relax with a cuppa. I generally don't sweeten my coffee or tea, but sometimes it happens. It used to be several spoons of sugar, but since drinking the low-carb kool-aid I only add enough for taste. Sadly, however, with my sensitive teeth and mouth, I have to wait for hot to become warm and warm to become room temperature.

I'm fairly uncultured as far as tea goes but I received a big tin of Melbourne Breakfast for a gift and it's kind of great.

This is our go to at home as well when we take the time to make it properly. It's pretty fucking delicious and sweet enough already I don't need to add sugar.

I only recently started drinking tea. I'm not one of those old people tea drinkers though, I'm more into the hip and happening blend teas. Currently on my desk I have boxes of Peach Mango flavoured Black Tea and Passion Raspberry flavoured Black Tea. Both are adequate.

This is hardly a glowing endorsement. Time to try some other types of tea?

Currently got a cup of Twinings Australian afternoon tea with honey. I've tried a few of the Twinings variety lately, my favorite is Russian Caravan a mid strength smooth tea, I like the smooth flavor.
