Learn a new language faster than ever! Leave doubt in the dust! Be a better sniper! Could you do all that and more with just a zap to the noggin? Maybe.

Sally Adee, an editor at New Scientist, was at a conference for DARPA - The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency - when she heard about a way to speed up learning with something called trans-cranial direct current stimulation (tDCS).

Have a listen to that podcast, now how fucking interesting is that?

Imagine the possibilities. Imagine how it could change everyday life.

Assuming it's not all a load of shit, of course.

Then the part near the end when they were talking about people making them and testing on themselves in their own home, that's fucking scary.. but awesome.

Thoughts?

Pfft, don't even try and put Stackee in my league...

I certainly don't doubt that there is tech out there right now that is highly secret and currently only in the hands of the US, Russian or Chinese military. Every now and then little clues are accidentally revealed hinting to some interesting shit.

That sounds like a fair assessment. Wouldn't be surprised if the Russians perfected some sort of a mind reading device already or the US some weather control machines or some tesla weapon tech

.
