I'm looking for a new game to add to my collection for drunken dinner parties with mates and other couples.

So far we run Balderdash, Pictionary, pass the pigs and monopoly.

I read about this game and was hoping someone here owns it or has played it and can offer some insight as to whether it will suit.

From what I've read it seems like it'd be a lot of fun for adults and kids alike. Potentially some laugh out loud moments.

Anyone played it or got any recommendations?

Well your first mistake is playing that godawful piece of shit Monopoly. Remove that from the rotation and you'll already have a games night more enjoyable for everyone.

Secondly, pick up Settlers of Catan as it is a fantastic game that is way more interactive and enjoyable than monopoly (and easy to learn).

Thirdly, there's a thread for Ultimate Werewolf already that explains how it works and what not. We played it at the meet (and I've played it a bunch of times besides that too) and it's fantastic fun.

We had games of around 16 players and it certainly scaled very well, the mob mentality grows pretty fierce with large amounts of players.

Is there laughter at others misfortune? This is usually a good combo with copious amounts of alcohol drunk.

Yes there is, the only real issue is that people that get knocked out of the game can no longer talk and can only watch. Either way, it is enjoyable to play.

If you're asking about Settlers, then that game can lead to much laughter and gloating (followed by swift revenge).

7 Wonders is another fun group game that only goes for about half an hour each game (and non-Seylanas will learn how it all works after a single game)

OK so since there is already a werewolf thread I've found a new game and changed the title.

Check the website out, its a kick starter that hasn't released yet but you can print off the free version. Ive done just that and will report back on if this is hilarious and awesome.

Played that. Fucking hated it.

The replies to the original post don't make much sense anymore, you should probably mention werewolf in there somewhere.

I'll be interested to see how you go with this new game though, so do let us know how it is once you've played it.

People will get over that.

I'm playing with 6 people, the minimum, and only the basic card set. Looking over the advanced cards it looks like this game will get outrageous with 12+ people.

You're the first person I've met who hasn't liked it!
