These videos are so fucking cool. Totally makes me want to watch Step Up or something.

The other thread got big and daunting, thought I'd make a new one so my post didn't instantly feel dwarfed.

Holy shit those are some smooth moves

What the fuck?

Hypnotic

Gotta love those magical costumes

That Amanaemonesia video is creeping me out, good song tho.

Warpaint recently said that Beyoncé & Rihanna made their music too 'hyper sexual' and that they were both talented enough to be more 'subtle and artful'. Think that has some credence? Monáe definitely pulls it off.

XX Islands is still amazing & I hadn't seen that Hot Chip video before, Reggie Watts just doing everything it seems (also: Peter Serafinowicz also directed 'I Feel Better').

I'll try and think of some cool videos to post soon.

Haha yeah that Amanaemonesia song is fucking trippy.

Not sure how I could forget this one, it's what made me go on the dance video quest.

That's just, like, their opinion, man.

I didn't think the Beyonce video above was too overboard, to me it came across as they just show a bit of flesh to keep the guys interested while they women enjoy the song.

I think that could be said for most things these days. It's either too sexualised, gory, has too many swear words or something else a bit extreme to make waves and get publicity. Target audience must also play a big part, from the video it seems that Beyonce aimed at tweens who dress like that.. or do they dress like that because they're emulating her?

That was an extremely entertaining video, mostly from all the bouncing dancers. The two topless guys were amusing every time they popped up.

I have no idea what Terence Stamp was doing in that video though
