Cool you jets Silver, no ones put any money in yet and if there isn't any money then all bets are off.

I'm just posting my personal bets. You can follow if you want.

Yeah, or make it even more simple.

  • $10 buy in per person
  • Set period of time - eg 1 month
  • Make bets based on general consensus
  • After time period is over, distribute winnings (if any) amongst participants
  • Start new round with $10 buy in and set a new time period

At the office Christmas party we had some office-wide betting, but if you had a win then only half of the winnings could be put towards the next bet. Makes it a little bit more complicated in that you have a 'safe kitty' (gasp, maths!?) but if you have at least one win you're guaranteed to get something out of it at the end.

I have heard of something like this -

Each player pays $x amount each week.
Each week one player bets on what ever he likes. But that person doesn't have to buy in for that week. The person placing the bets uses everybody else's money not they own.
At the end of the week money is evenly distributed

You could probably do this via something like Tatt's bet or bet365. Unsure if they will like multipul people using the one account but. I spoke to bet365 and they don't like more then one person using the account.

And maybe we could do something like you said Fork, but make it you can only bet the kitty and no winnings

Lance made a huge mistake accepting 10 mill contract?

More like Sydney made huge mistake

He accepted less money to go to the Sydney team he thought would be most dominant. I think he made a mistake.

Obviously still on a tonne of money, but yeah, looked like shit today.

Who offered him more? I thought GWS only offered like 5 mill over 4 years (or something like that)? To think buddy will still be worth a mill a year in 9 years though.…..

Point is though i think any deal he took that was on offer he would be laughing, to many teams i think are caught up with his name over his play

Though im just a disgruntled swans supporter who thinks offering buddy anything was a bad idea

I think he's worth a million a year for the next 4 years, but I'm still wrapping my head around the 9 year thing - total madness.

I wonder if there is an injury clause built in? Or maybe is was potentially 1mil a year based on a bonus scheme? That how it works in the NFL unsure about AFL but?

Was going to update this tonight with some suggestions for punter's club etc, now that the first round of the AFL is done I'll actually have a decent idea of form-lines and whatnot for my betting.
