I'm not going to re-write everything up to this date. Everyone by now has heard about this tragedy, what I'm concerned about is the lack of information. When Air France had that disaster in 2009, the news were able to much more reliably transfer information to the public on any developments.
Having watched my fair share of air crash investigation I consider myself an expert on aviation disasters. What is coming out of Malaysia is a confused and poorly communicated jumble of information where theory is mixed with fact and then recounted and then struck from the record. Suspicious individuals are being compared to soccer players (a black one) when the individual is a white Iranian.
I've been involved in a number of incident investigations where the company invokes the right to hold information back; however this is well and truly in the public eye and I don't have the confidence that the right information is going to the right people so 777's are grounded or allowed to keep flying.

-What's your theory on MH370s disappearance? Mechanical failure leading to explosion at altitude? Plummet into the ocean? Terrorism? Aliens?
-Isn't there an international governing body that regulates this shit and will hold Malaysia's hand through this process?
-When is your next flight and how do you feel about getting on a plane? (I'm off to Canada in June)
