This is not the history you know

Experience a unique vision of Victorian London where Man uses advanced technology to battle a powerful and ancient foe. As a member of an elite order of knights, join a centuries-old war that will determine the course of history forever.

I held off on creating a thread for this because it looked pretty meh and there wasn't much information out, but recently they've released trailers and gameplay.

The graphics look pretty fucking amazing, especially the cloth effects. The gameplay still looks a bit clunky, but it might have just been a shit player.

looks good, Steam-Punk weapons and I like the multi-path concept for QT cut-scenes.

That's quite disappointing, it was going to be one of the flagship next-gen only PS exclusive games.

Ah well, I don't really give a shit about gameplay length so if they can make it more fun it might still be worth the play through when it gets real cheap.

Its an interesting topic for discussion there. "What games have you still gotten anyway despite it getting a bad review?" Command and Conquer 4 for me comes to mind, I never did clock it in the end.

A lot of movies get bad reviews yet many people still like them anyway, video games seem to be different like that. I suppose good game play is an important quality to all consumers.

Final Fantasy XIII. Holy shit that game sucked. I never finished it after three full on attempts.

F13... oh gawd.. I didn't even hate it. I just got SUPER BORED of it (especially affro jack black gunslinger man). Then a friend told me there was this compilation of cut scenes on youtube, lasted some 2hrs but was basically the whole game without the nonsense. Turns out I was about 5hrs from finishing it. (5hrs too long)

Highly recommend the watching cut scenes alternative.

Oh man. I'm totally going to watch it. The gameplay absolutely sucked ass, but to be fair, the story didn't feel very compelling either.
