Recently Jackie told me she was done with hard core raiding and wanted to transfer back to twelve and play with us casually. I asked Moss if there would be a spot for her, and the feedback from him and the other officers has raised some important issues that need to be addressed.

There seems to be a real opinion of many people that Tex and Jackie betrayed the guild. I was just as shocked as everyone that day I logged in and saw the MOTD 'abandon ship :<' and to find Tex and Jackie had transferred. I understand why they did it and I personally express no bad feelings towards them for doing it, they are interested in hard core progression and they were sick of trying to find pugs every night to fill in spots. They didn't feel as if they killed the horse, they were just sick of beating the horse that was already dead, so they left. I do think they made a mistake: they failed to realise just how much people care about the old guild. I took up the gm with the support of people who regard the guild to be bigger than the game its self, and with their help, twelve is in a good place right now.

I said in the beginning in a new era of twelve thread "...they will always be welcome and they are welcome to take the GM position back if they wish to make the Twelve a raiding guild again". I have changed my point of view on this. I want to make it perfectly clear: I will not be giving up the GM to anyone. The only circumstance which I would consider giving up the GM would be under massive change to my personal life, but considering how much I enjoy being apart of it all I want to ensure in my life that I will have a computer near by and am always able to log back in oftenly. Such a big change were I couldn't log in seems unlikely in the near future, so I think it is unlikely I will be giving up the gm any time soon.

I also said in that sentence that they are welcome back any time. I will always welcome them back at any time just like I would most former members who give a dam about the guild. Tex and Jackie were great servants to twelve and if they did not take up the responsibility of administering the guild in some form of capacity after Rem left I don't know where the guild would be now. It is in my personal opinion that they should feel welcome to come back with out feeling as if they are not welcome. I think if they can come back with out prejudice it would do great things for the integrity of the guild and we will be stronger for it. This is a contentious issue that I would like to hear feedback from others on.

I think that people are scared that the guild might drift into limbo again. I've demoted Tex and Jackie back to veterans and have switched off officer chat for veterans. I want maintain the integrity of twelve and I want people to feel assured that twelve remains in this good place it is right now for a long time to come. I feel as as GM I have a responsibility to express my point of view, but I will always run the guild as a democracy and I will always listen to the feedback of others.

Anyway enough with the serious stuff, lets all get back to having fun killing magical dragons.

I think this is relevant:

Number One: Welcome to the club, Number 493. You have become a member of the ancient and noble society of Stonecutters, who since ancient times have always endeavored to shatter the stone of ignorance, to bring forth the light of truth... now, let's all get drunk and play Ping-Pong!

Wait Tex and Jackie are different people?

I knew a girl called Jackie once that was a massive bitch to me so I would like to vote against the Jackie fellows return on the strong chance it's the same person.

Firstly let me apologize, it appears when we transferred to horde some confusion may have arisen, the reason I left twelve with the MOTD I did is simply because the vast majority (somewhere around the 70% mark) of the raid team I worked on setting up over the course of this expansion decided to leave without a single word of notice, quite demoralizing as you might imagine to log on and find this. As it turns out they wanted to raid 25man or something and just didn't feel like telling me.

I did not leave <Twelve> with intentions of "killing it" or putting it in "Limbo", hence GM being handed over to Cailo, one of the only people left in the WoW guild at the time who actually stuck around and deserved it.

Never once did I forget that people still cared about the guild, I was just sick and tired of trying to recruit as a "semi hardcore whatever" guild and getting no replies for weeks on end, the state of the raid team I ran had nothing to do with how I felt about the guild itself, just because it had failed did not by any means suggest the guild was dead.

Being a GM means you need to invest time and give cares, unfortunately at the time I was all out of both and just wanted to play as the other 99% of the guild did (that guy who sometimes logs on and does stuff).

I don't think either of us have ever requested or will ever request to have GM given to us from you, nor do I see how logging on to "raid / help out" could compromise the integrity of the guild, how people could feel that one person simply entering a raid with you could do this is beyond me.

I personally don't plan on dropping my current raid team if it can be avoided, and i certainly do not want to take GM to start a raid team, please pass this on to <Twelve> so you can all take that weight off your collective shoulders.

I think this is relevant:

normal guy normal walk.

P.S. good luck to you all in stuff and things,

Thank you and goodnight.

TLDR; just make something interesting up and pretend I wrote that.

So Ralphie and Sarah are coming back to Twelve? I think people might welcome Ralphie but don't know about the other.

Anyway, I did something similar back in WOTLK when Twelve wasn't deciding if we were continuing Heroic LK and I wasn't getting any straight answers from officers or Rem. It was around when Rontwo got gkicked for the loot incident and a whole bunch of people where jumping ship because there was no communication if we were still raiding Heroic LK or just chilling around until the next expansion.

What Tex and Tex have done doesn't sound too bad Cailo. I have done worse and people got over it especially Rem when he gave me the Dalaran Locket and I transferred off the server :P, or that time I abused half the raid team... Trolled Applicants... Abused applicants... Intentionally wipe raids... AFK during boss fights... Leashing bosses and taking the portal to Dalaran... I think that is all I can remember so far... O yeah, bagging out melee for 3/4 of the raid.

Anyway what I am saying is what they did is meh and members have being forgiven for a lot worse.

Tex you are still a faggot, but you are my little faggot.
