I think it's 20 mill in lost revenue.

7.5 mill × 16 (monthly sub) = 120 mill
120 mill ÷ 30 (average day in a month) = 4 mill
4 mill X 5 days equals 20 mill.

I think it could be less or more due to currency conversion to USD or AUD.

You must be very bored.

Revenue is in USD. Currency fluctuations only impact the buyer (cost) in this market not the seller (revenue) as the price is fixed.

Wasn't there a post somewhere that WoD was up to 10mil subs again? Of which 7mil (give or take) are continuing MoP players and are likely to be on longer than month to month subs (thus a lower average monthly sub cost).

Anyway, semantics.

Bottom line in my eyes is: it's good to see them "do the right thing", and they've certainly forgone revenue to save a little face.

I haven't left the first zone yet, but am thoroughly enjoying what I have seen so far. There are many little touches that make it the best expac yet.

Like when you set fire to some orc huts some come running out on fire, one screams and runs over the edge of a cliff and another jumps into water.

Or when a hut explodes and you see the corpse flying a cross your screen.

Very much so. Maybe it's because I have chosen to roll a different class or the fact that I haven't really played since BC but it just feels so fresh and different but familiar at the same time.

Working away sucks again as I want to play wow. Argh...surely I should be able to manage my garrison from my android device?!

You kind of can. There is a Garrison timer app, which provides a fast and easy way to be notified when your Garrison Missions and Work Orders are complete. Using a QR scan of an in-game addon, you can queue up your missions onto your phone.
Doesn't help you really, but some may find it useful.
