I don't see why rewards can't scale with the difficulty of AI you are playing against. It wouldn't be very hard to do.

This title was worth looking into for me, because it was marketed as a more casual game with a lighter barrier to entry. That aspect piqued my interest, because I struggle to enjoy and appreciate DOTA 2, as I always felt it would be more fun if it wasn't as complex as going through a take-off checklist in a virtual cockpit.

Dota2 alt tab guides made it easy! Of course like anything you can play at different levels but using the guides I was able to be competent and not feed.

Speaking of which, I completed my 10 calibration matches last night for Dota 2 Group MMR and got given a rating of ~2900. I was quite happy with that as it serves as a decent indicator of my progress since I started and sounds about right for what I perceive my skill level to be.

According to Reddit/Dota2 anyone with a ranking below 3000 should just uninstall the game and then kill themselves but as I'm not exactly aspiring to become a pro player and only play 1-2 games every few weeks I'm quite happy with where I'm at.

I don't imagine HotS would ever show player ratings and I'd say that's probably for the best.

I'm just glad they aren't shown during games or are publicly available unless you want it to be. HoN's cancerous community was in a huge part due to being ranked by colour in game, and having the rating publicly visible on your profile.

I think when it comes to rating it's very key not to give any fuck, it's just good being able to benchmark your progress and actually see improvement. Or in my case, regression!

Apparently a batch of account flags went out (as opposed to invites/keys) so check your account to see if it was flagged.

No luck here :(

Nothing for me either, unfortunately :(

Isn't it time you create a new thread for this game Luke? Maybe "HotS accounts now being flagged"?

Also no account flag for me either.
