Can't believe no one has made a thread about this yet. Then again, sometimes I forget this is a forum for gamers.

This is shaping up to be the biggest boxing match in history. Many feel that the challenger, Santos Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez Barragán 42-0-1 has a legitimate chance at dethroning the last remaining boxing legend, Floyd "Money" Mayweather 44-0. The old dinosaur vs the new hungry lion.

Both fighters have never lost a match with Canelo having had one draw. Interesting to note, Mayweather will receive $41.5 million regardless of the outcome. I personally hate boxing, it's plagued with corruption and generally boring fights but this is one fight I certainly wont miss.

Excellent article on the match by the numbers.

Looks like it would be a good fight, might be on par with Grand Final Day for non-fans - download it and get drunk yelling at the tv!

In Australia, the pay per view has already broken all-time records with three days before fight night.

Holy fuck that's incredible! Considering 95% of the buys will come in the last couple of hours before the pay-per-view starts.
