Yea, I know where your coming from Spoon, close games are one of the reasons I like to watch NFL.

But to see a team come together and preform on another level is sensational and its what stars are made of. The Seahawks are such a young team I doubt any of them have ever played at that level before. Along with that, they didn't spend big money buying players or heaps of First Round Picks, it goes to show how good head coach Pete Carroll is.
Manning just choked like a …. someone... who chokes...

Tom Brady would have won...had patriots defence not been so awful against Manning in non-choke-mode

Btw, how many broncos does it take to make a tackle? If I learnt anything yesterday I would have to say the minimum is 5!
Coca-cola commercial titled “It’s Beautiful” in which American people did American things while the song “America the Beautiful” is sung in the background.

If you’re a human being you might say to yourself “that was a decent commercial, what’s the big deal?” But if you’re a vile monster void of emotion and compassion you might have realized that America the Beautiful was sung in MULTIPLE LANGUAGES. DEAR GOD, NO. Some people were pissed it was not sung in ENGLISH.

Scroll down and read all the fantastic comments. Those silly 'mericans.

Hulu video doesn't link.
Too lazy to research. Are american nationalists up in arms about the commercial or is it the other countries up in arms about singing the song in their language?

Cant even explain how disgusting it is that people would say all this stuff about a commercial. Because speaking something other than english automatically means youre a terrorist.
Red Hot Chili Peppers Admit Their Guitars Were Unplugged During the Super Bowl Halftime Show

“When we were asked by the NFL and Bruno to play our song ‘Give It Away ‘ at the Super Bowl, it was made clear to us that the vocals would be live, but the bass, drums, and guitar would be pre-recorded,” Flea wrote. “I understand the NFL’s stance on this, given they only have a few minutes to set up the stage, there a zillion things that could go wrong and ruin the sound for the folks watching in the stadium and the t.v. viewers. There was not any room for argument on this, the NFL does not want to risk their show being botched by bad sound, period.”

Interesting. I noticed that the guitars weren't plugged into anything but just thought it was wireless or some shit.
Wonder how much they were paid for attending but not "performing" ? probably more than ill make in a life time.
