The Tomorrow People was a 70's British family SF series which featured a group of teenagers with psionic powers. Greg Berlanti and Julie Plec (creators and producers of current hits Arrow and The Vampire Diaries repsectively) plan to remake the series for an American audience. Chuck script writer Phil Klemmer is penning the pilot for The CW.

Hopefully this will be Heroes, but doesn't suck as much ass?

I thought the idea was good, but the execution was average at best.

This will be coming out today, let's not be disappointed when it is shit!

My thoughts. This will be cheesy and stupid judging from that trailer and will probably lack any direction.

So what you're saying is that the show needs more of this?

Well this wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. There was a bit of shitty writing and it teetered on the edge of soapy drama but for the most part it was entertaining and has a lot of potential.

"So apparently we have an uncle, that's a bit random. #YOLO"

I enjoy how the bad guy is able to come across not completely evil, and I was surprised when the main bloke decided to work for him.

I feel that the Tomorrow People's inability to kill is quite a cop out, but I suppose that is supposed to explain why they don't carry guns and instead decide to just kung-fu their way through enemies - a way of balancing the field.

TLDR: Wasn't completely shit, good potential, hope it gets better, will watch for a few more episodes.
