Just a few days away from the latest Mistborn book being released.

It's set in the same world as the Allow of Law, which is fucking sweet. Good ol' Wax and Wayne in the western setting.

Love all of Sanderson's other work, very keen for a continuation of the Mistborn universe and magic system - and hopefully some more Cosmere easter eggs!

If you haven't read the original Mistborn trilogy yet, it's well worth it.

I think I might re-read it at some point. I really liked that world, but he needs to write his other story because I don't want to die before he's done.

He releases a book every 6ish months, which is fucking impressive!

Have you read his super hero (The Reckoners) series? It's pretty awesome and a great spin on the classic themes. First two books are out and the last one is due in Feb 2016.

Three years for a whole trilogy to be written and released is nuts, especially since a whole slew of other titles were released between them.

I didn't even know that was a thing! I should find more of his stuff.…..and eventually get around to finishing wheel of time. For some reason I find his material pretty easy to read. I don't know why or what it is either, but I don't find his descriptions tedious or his characters boring.

I've only read the Mistborn series and the Stormlight Chronicles.
