Everyone drinks coffee. Except those who don't of course. I was one of those few until about a month ago.
To me it was an acquired taste, just like beer or wine. It tastes like shit the first few times you have it but then you start to appreciate it and the effects it has on you, then you start to enjoy it. Next thing you know it's part of your daily life.
I used to get a hot chocolate when the office did a coffee run, but when I started trying to make healthier choices I still wanted that wake up kick and tried a cappacino (with many sugars) and it wasn't too horrible. I made some mochas with milo and instant coffee at work and they were bearable, kept you warm in the cold winter and gave you a kick to knock off the sleepiness.
Now it's part of my morning ritual, put the kettle on before I dish out breakfast, pour the coffee in my sexy Tupperware travel mug and drink it on the way to work or the train station. I even ordered an alcoholic affogato at Gold Class when we saw Batman and it was delicious!
I indulge myself every now and then with a cap when they do a coffee run, but mostly I don't hate the instant shit and would rather save $4 and put it towards a beer or two on the way home on Fridays
I'm still not down with all the retarded lingo, it's like a different fucking language! I'm sure it will come in time as I try new things.
So what's your story, how did you get into it?
What do you usually have?
Instant, bag, snobby cafe shit only, or anything?
Any favourite brands?
