"Watch what happens when you don't drink your milk kids"

*smashes abo in the kneecap with a hammer*

"See kids! Drink your milk up or your bones will explode like eggshells."

I don't really have much to add because I love milk and just like beer, I will continue to drink it in droves whether its bad for me or not.

However, Just wanted to point out that you should NEVER EVER EVER use Huffington post AND/OR dailymail as sources to back yourself up. Instant credibility loss right there.

Also your naturalnews source is Anti Vaccine

Can you link to some credible sources like a reputable scientific journal or something?

Naturalnews is a fucking mouthbreathing, windowlicking downie fest of hysterical housewives and new age hippies who will tell you waving quartz over your nuts will cure your prostate cancer.

That's just not accurate. I saw a baby monkey milking a dog in Vietnam.

Wait... So if it's not Quartz, the Amethyst surely works right? RIGHT?!
Ralphie
Pretty much all those stones the hippies wave around are some form of quartz. Citrine, Amethyst, Agate, Carnelian, Jasper, Onyx etc etc. Its all just a chunk of silica with various inclusions that impart the colour.

And now this thread is riveting milk and rock discussion.

It's true. If those stupid hippie morons had their way, we'd still have 2 million people dying of smallpox each year.

Back in the day, you could just back-hand some sense back into your wife... But awww no... that's domestic violence now.

Christopher Hitchens wrote that he learned in 2005 that in Northern Nigeria—a country which at that time was considered provisionally polio free—an Islamic Fatwah was issued declaring that the polio vaccine was a conspiracy by the United States and the United Nations against the Muslim faith, saying that the drops were designed to sterilize the true believers. Subsequently, polio reappeared in Nigeria and spread from there to several other countries.

Well that can be taken in two ways:

1 - He was right and the US re-infected them, playing into their conspiracy claims.
2 - They were morons and should've fucken immunised to prevent the inevitable.

I reckon it was the first one

My Nan had chronic osteoperosis (dead now) which was pretty much around the time she was born 1915, they didn't drink much milk....as apparently it was hard to come by, she always blamed not eating enough dairy/drinking milk in her youth for the disease which slowly incapacitated her from middle age onwards.
She died a hunch back basically, once a women about 6' tall she prolly was a little over 5'3" or something when she died in her mid-eighties. I'm not sure what her actual cause of death was - I think she was 'helped' along with morphine etc but I do know she was in a lot of pain from the degenerative bone condition....basically her body was just worn out I think and very fragile.

I'm not sure cow's milk is great for everyone (lactose intolerance?) but the idea that its actually weakening our bones....goes against everything I've been taught over the years.

If milk was so harmful for our bones wouldn't you see significantly more adults walking around with casts/splints from minor falls etc?
