I am looking into Shakes at the moment. The training I am planning to commence by the end of this month will require me to eat loads more. Which will just make me feel sick, so I see shakes as my only option.

I plan to continue with the food I am eating now and add in a shake or maybe 2 a day to give me the nutrients I need to repair, recover and to have energy to do it all over again.

If anyone has any other suggestions, I would love to hear them.

Depends on what you're planning on doing, if you're just looking to repair and increase lean muscle mass go with a Whey Isolate has a 50/50 ratio of protein to carbs when mixed with no fat milk.

If you're bulking get a gainer with glutamine and creatine, I've seen some with up to 500 calories per a scoop.

http://www.iherb.com best site I've found of supplements.

One of my navy mates did that with his girlfriend, said it was awesome. Pretty keen to try and get on the next one.

Also I've noticed a lot of people are having trouble with dieting and nutritional factors, and some other want info on supplements.

Should I make a new thread? Or just keep it all in this one?

I don't think another thread could hurt, if you're going to do a big write up make it up and i'll link them together and make them a happy family.

Yeah, just I wanted to put up a thread because when I started weight loss I assumed I was eating right, only to find out I was eating horribly, (eg white bread, bad meat etc). So I thought we could all pool our experience in, seeing as we're all from very different backgrounds training wise.

I'm all for a new thread focusing on healthy eating, maybe even put it in the Food & Cooking forum? Or anywhere, I can move it around like a wizard.
