I'm on a tight budget right now and found that Buckeye Classic Golden Spiced Rum is not only dirt cheap (under $30) but is also fucking delicious.

Similar to Captain Morgan Spiced Gold ($35) or Sailor Jerry ($38) this is a flavoursome and smooth smooth spiced rum. Very impressed by its quality, it's exceptionally smooth and fantastic value for those looking to save a few dollars.

Can you give any comment on how smooth it is?

Go smoothly suck a dick.

Have you tried Grappa yet Fork? That stuff is absolutely amazing, smooth, great relaxing taste and has that affect where you need to chain drink it because it's so god damn good that you can't stop.

Have only tried home made grappa, none of this fancy watered down stuff in the stores.

That's not relaxing or smooth at all, moreso harsh like battery acid.

Anyone have any recommendations for a smooth spiced rum?

don't biccardi do a spiced rum? sadly, whatever we were drinking that night did not lend itself to being remembered. or rather it lent itself to the encouragement of remembrance too well (not sure which i want, but suffice to say we got plastered and I can't for the life of me remember on whose spiced rum we were partaking).

I've aa sweet tooth otherwise. will happily grab a CC and dry and a few beers

What do you like drinking? i've sadly never left the drinking to enjoy the social side. don't care what just with whom. pop a top and settle in for a goodin.

What's your regular relaxing drink? beer. anything else and too soon the relaxing has been swapped out for a rather debaucherous alternative

What's your special occasion drink? nigroni

Do you drink it neat, on the rocks or with a mixer? mix 'em all. once vomited up blood and my stomach lining after a night on tequila slammers in Mexico. haven't touched spirits straight since... or that's not quite true but I sure haven't liked it since

Yeah Bacardi have Oakheart which is a spiced rum. Haven't tasted that yet, though the reviews aren't amazing.

You prefer CC with dry over coke? Coke too sweet or just love dry?

too sweet and if that was the stuff then I was pleasantly surprised as i did not expect anything great at all. I'd recommend grabbing a bottle some time for sure.

I much prefer drinking dry over coke. It's much more soothing.
